Projects Energy Management Projects
The Montbello Library project was the first commercial application of the Coolerado evaporative cooling technology. This technology allows heat to be exchanged from one airstream to another using evaporative cooling while using a special membrane to inhibit the migration of humidity between the airstreams. These units were installed on the outdoor air intake to the building’s AHU to precool the air used to ventilate and cool the Library. This process reduced the mechanical cooling requirement considerably generating significant savings.
